Aamar Khwaja
Vice President, JP Morgan Chase
Aamar currently serves as the Program Manager for Investment Banking
Technology at JP Morgan Chase, where he is responsible for managing
and developing eCommerce and eFinance solutions for the Global Credit
Risk Management division.
Previously, Aamar was a Principal at Context Integration, a leading
e-business consulting firm, where he was responsible for reengineering
e-business solutions for Global 2000 clients. Prior to Context,
Aamar was an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co.,
where he successfully led the development of multiple technology
solutions. Prior to that, Aamar was an Investment Banker in Merrill's
Structured Finance group.
Aamar has a BS in Marketing and Finance from New York University's
Stern School of Business and is completing an M.S. in Technology
Management at University of Pennsylvania's Wharton/Penn Engineering
Schools. He also serves as the CTO and on the advisory board of
a non-profit organization.
Asif Khan
Principal, Management Solutions International
Asif Khan is currently running MSI an IT consulting
and outsourcing firm. At MSI Asif’s major projects includes deployment
of offshore call centers, VoIP implementation and web-based applications
outsourcing.
His prior engagements includes Headstrong, formerly James Martin
& Company, a global consultancy with a 20+ year track record of
providing clients with value-based solutions across Consulting, Systems
Integration and Application Outsourcing. At Headstrong, Asif focused on
Voice Over IP (VoIP) and eBusiness consulting services.
Prior to joining Headstrong, Asif was part of incubation
team of a start-up firm Oneclip. He has also worked with Softlab
Solutions and Merrill Lynch.
Asif has BBA in Management Information Systems and He has
also completed a number of specialized technology courses and
certifications with Cisco. Asif serves at the executive board of a
non-profit organization The Citizen Foundation (TCF) and is the vice
president of TCF’s tri-state chapter.
Salmaan Jaffrey
Executive, Accenture
Salmaan is an Executive in Accenture’s Strategy
Practice in New York focusing on the banking and capital market
industries. In this role, Salmaan is responsible for developing and
leading major
client engagements that identify and implement value creation and
transformation opportunities for the C-Suite.
Prior to Accenture, Salmaan served as V.P. Marketing Strategy at
Citicards, where he managed the “alternate” direct response channel,
with a $41 Million budget and a 23 person cross-functional team. He was
responsible for targeting ~80 Million households weekly, representing a
revenue opportunity of $250 Million. Previously, Salmaan was a Finance
Manager at American Express in Corporate Services, where he managed a
P&L and $50 Million operating budget for 160 person Commercial Card
Sales Organization that served
major U.S./Global corporate customers and generated over $600 Million in
net revenue with $30 Billion in charge volume.
Prior to American Express, Salmaan was Partner, V.P.
Business Development at PaintingsDirect.com, where he led the
development of the first ever e-commerce business in the original art
industry, targeting a $6-$9 Billion potential market opportunity. Before
joining PaintingsDirect.com, Salmaan spent several years at Mercer
Management Consulting, where he led teams for projects focused on
developing customer driven growth strategies and
identifying new business ventures for Fortune 100 firms as well as
private equity shops.
Salmaan holds an M.B.A. from Cornell University and an
A.B., Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with Honors, in International
Relations from Colgate University. He serves on the executive boards of
the New York Chapter of the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs
(OPEN), Developments in Literacy (DIL - a non-profit organization that
focuses on literacy in Pakistan)
and Cornell’s Johnson School of Management Alumni Club in NYC.
Saad Bin Saeed
Assistant Vice President, Marsh Inc
Saad is currently a Project Manager in the
Information Management group at Marsh Inc, where he is responsible for
managing implementation of Data warehousing and forecasting
applications. Previously, Saad worked as a technology and management
consultant at Bristol-Myer Squibb supporting the Research and
Development Group, and at Context integration managing system
implementations for companies such as J&J and Novartis.
Saad also represented BMS on a consortium of large Pharma
companies and FDA which is engaged in developing standards of Non
CLinical Data Exchange between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory
agencies. The standard is planned to become a guidance by end of 2004
Prior to Context Integration, Saad was a senior consultant
at Oracle Corporation. There he was involved with a
multi-org/international implementation of Oracle’s financial and CRM
applications at General Electric. Prior to that, Saad worked as an
associate manager at AT&T in the information management organization
on a business process re-engineering project.
Saad has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University
and a Masters in Management Science and Information Systems from
Stevens Institute of Technology.
Omar Moonis
Vice President, Citigroup
Omar is in a senior management rotational leadership
program in the Global Consumer Group at Citigroup. He is currently part
of the International Retail Banking group handling Sales &
Distribution functions.
Prior to this, Omar was in the Corporate Banking Group also at
Citigroup. He was in Technology Management responsible for CRM
applications development and support as well as call center outsourcing
initiatives. He then went to the Operations side of the business where
he managed a payments processing center.
Omar has a BSE in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from
Columbia Business School.
